Dance Student showcase 2021
Our dance students had a blast at the end of 2021, performing items as a class to the Raglan community.
‘A Night AT THE MOVIES’ celebrated iconic movies from the past to the present.
This years performance celebrated students hard work and tenacity they have shown throughout the 2021 year, facing lockdowns, online classes and postponements of many events they were looking forward to. The F2F team decided the ‘SHOW MUST GO ON’ and did everything possible to make this happen. With last minute changes in venues and dances, as well as only 4 weeks in the studio to rehearse, it was a blessing to see it all come together with grace, poise and fire!
The show was packed full of energy, fun and cuteness overload! With our littlest dancers portraying characters from Elf, Lion King, Frozen and Sing all the way up to the our biggest kids performing Genie from Aladdin. The show also included Harry Potter, Pink Panthers, Dorothys(Wizard of Oz), Annie and Moana. Special guest performances included adult students performing the likes of The Greatest Showman, BeetleJuice, Purple Rain and Wonder Woman. Our ‘Men In Black’ were a real highlight too!
Thank you to our amazing F2F community (dance friends, families, students and staff) for coming together and helping us to make this event a success. It was no easy feat- given the constant changing rules and regulations facing the country during the pandemic. It is a highlight of the dance school year and is always a blessing to see our students up on stage shining as they love to do!
We love what we do and have been incredibly fortunate that we have managed to push on and make most of our 2021 events happen in-spite of the pandemic and constant national and local lockdowns. To be able to continue to share our passion with our community whilst many studios around NZ and internationally haven’t been so lucky. We do not take it for granted!
May 2022 be filled with dance, circus, aerial and acro fun that continue to unite us- lifting our spirits, pushing us to our limits (in a good way) and striving for greatness…
