Raglans High achieving exam students 2022

In 2022 our Ballet and Jazz students sat exams-the 2nd dance syllabus exams ever sat in Raglan.

We are incredibly proud to announce that EVERY STUDENT PASSED their exams (and passed their exams WELL)! It is a testament to the hard work, dedication, focus and discipline that our students showed throughout the year that marks were consistently high across the board.

In the lead up to exams students are guided through setting goals to help focus their efforts, personally setting realistic expectations and giving them a framework of how to systematically work towards them.

We have a band app which has been A GAME CHANGER for us all, students can ask questions and everyone can post videos of home practice and see videos of exercises so practice at home is classed as “PRODUCTIVE SCREEN TIME”

Our ‘Highest Studio Ballet Exam Mark’ went to Lilly Hurst who received Distinction*

Our Highest Studio Jazz Exam Mark’ was awarded to Anabelle mills who received Distinction.

Students Lauren Hartstone and Anabelle Mills both were awarded an excellence award from the head of AJDA Syllabus as they received one of the top 5 marks in the whole of New Zealand for their level.
